At their next meeting on 2 September the Scrutiny Programme Committee will be holding a question and answer session with Councillor Christine Richards who is Cabinet Member for Citizen, Community Engagement & Democracy, and they are looking for ideas for questions.
Councillor Richard’s portfolio responsibilities include:
- Developing Citizen Engagement Strategies, Consultation and the Promotion of Openness and Transparency;
- Developing Local partnerships for Service Improvement, including the Local Service Board;
- Community Leadership;
- Democratic Services;
- Participation – Children & Young People;
- Petitions;
- Staff Co-operation and Development;
- Business Manager.
What questions do you think the committee should ask her? The committee would welcome your suggestions. Any suggestions made before 2 September will be looked at by the committee in developing its questioning strategy and the key ones will be put to Councillor Richards.
