Scrutiny to follow up on affordable housing recommendations

The Affordable Housing Scrutiny Inquiry Panel is meeting on Wednesday to assess the impact of their report into affordable housing, which took place during 2013. The inquiry looked at ways the Council and its partners could  increase the overall supply of affordable housing in Swansea.

The Panel will meet with Councillor David Hopkins, Cabinet Member for Housing & Communities and ask the following questions:

  • What has changed since the report was presented to Cabinet?
  • Have the agreed recommendations been implemented?
  • What has been the impact of the scrutiny inquiry?

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 3 December at 5pm in the Chamber Meeting Room, Civic Centre. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Please contact the scrutiny team on 01792 636292 or via email if you wish to attend.
