The Procurement Scrutiny Inquiry is progressing at pace, with evidence gathered from across council departments, internal audit and a group of local contractors.

The Panel will on the 10 November speak to Business Wales about how they support and train small businesses especially in relation to the Councils tendering/contracting process.

At this meeting they will also look at different practice around the UK in relation to social and local procurement, any performance and comparison data the council uses and also any user survey results.

The Panel plan to start to wrap the inquiry at their meeting on the 24 November, where they will look at all the evidence they have gathered and start to draw conclusions.
