The work of scrutiny is published in two ways; in stand alone in-depth reports and through the Council’s minutes of meetings.
You can find in-depth reports from scrutiny, going back to 2006, in our Scrutiny Reports Library. For some in-depth pieces of work findings reports are also available. These provide a summary of all of the evidence that was provided to a particular review or inquiry.
Other reports, including the Chairs Letters written by scrutiny to Cabinet Members, can be found within the agenda packs that are published for each formal meeting of Council including Cabinet Meetings and Scrutiny Committee Meetings.
If you know which meeting the report was presented at you can find the agenda pack on the Council’s Committee – meetings, agendas, reports and minutes pages. There is also a search facility if you do not know the exact meeting.
