What’s next for the Service Improvement & Finance Scrutiny Panel?

The Service Improvement & Finance Scrutiny Performance Panel will be meeting at 1.30pm on Wednesday 13 May (committee room 3, Civic Centre). The role of the Panel is to scrutinise the Council’s corporate performance, service improvement and budget arrangements.

On the agenda this week is a Q&A session with Councillor David Hopkins, Cabinet Member for Housing & Communities. The purpose of this session is to specifically focus on the achievement and impact of the savings targets for 2014/15 within the Housing & Communities portfolio.

The Panel will also discuss its Annual Work Plan, it will reflect on the year’s work, achievements, experiences, issues and ideas for future scrutiny. This will also include a draft work plan for 2015/16.
