A Scrutiny Working Group to look at Community Cohesion in Swansea has been arranged and will meet on the 20 June to look at the work and effectiveness of the Council and its partnerships in supporting and promoting community cohesion. The Working Group will look particularly at the overarching direction or strategy.
Some of the issues they plan to cover include:
- Barriers to improving community cohesion and how these can be addressed
- Example of some of the projects designed to improve community cohesion locally
- How success is measured and monitored
- How local Councillors are involved and included in community cohesion projects
- How this work is benefiting local residents/communities in Swansea.
