Today the Environment & Communities Overview & Scrutiny Board met to discuss their work plan for the year.
This is perhaps the board with the widest brief so it was crucial for them to narrow down their priorities to just a few topics.

With one eye on the current budget situation they decided that they would focus on increasing public participation in recycling for their main in-depth review.
They will also be taking a close look at roads and transport and how we make best use of council owned community buildings.
It promises to be a busy year!
