Scrutiny Councillors on the Community Cohesion Working Group met on 20 June to look at the work being done to support and promote community cohesion. They spoke to the Regional Community Coordinator for Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend. The Working Group were keen to hear about the Myth Busting information that is produced to help counter misconceptions, scapegoating and stereotypes concerning sections of our communities. The Working Group were keen to see this information shared and used as widely as possible to create a wider understanding and challenge the basis of those negative views.
